We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Safety Coordinator (Offshore)

Location: Akwa Ibom
Job type: Contract

Job Description

• Implement and monitor site safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and standards.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and risk assessments on-site.
• Investigate incidents/accidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver safety inductions and training to personnel and contractors.
• Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to safe work practices.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• 2–4 years’ experience in health and safety roles.
• Good knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and risk assessment practices.
• Ability to enforce safety compliance and conduct inspections.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Offshore travel documents valid for at least one year(BOSIET,OSP,SBC,Medicals, TB, A&D, Audiometry).
