We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Certified Structural Welder, Carbon STL (ARC) - Offshore
Location: Akwa Ibom

Job Description
- Perform structural welding on carbon steel materials using ARC (SMAW) welding processes.
- Weld steel structures, frames, plates, and supports according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Prepare welding surfaces, carry out fit-up, tack welding, and full weld passes.
- Read and interpret structural drawings, welding symbols, and welding procedure specifications (WPS).
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, strength, and compliance with standards.
- Carry out weld repairs and rectification of defects when required.
Requirements
- Trade certificate or vocational training in structural welding or fabrication.
- Minimum of 3–7 years of experience as a certified structural welder.
- Proven competency in ARC (SMAW) welding of carbon steel.
- Experience welding structural members in multiple positions.
- Ability to read and understand structural drawings and welding symbols.
- Physically fit to work in construction or industrial site environments.
- Valid structural welding certification or qualification (required).
- Offshore travel documents valid for at least one year (BOSIET, OSP, SBC, Medicals, TB, A&D, Audiometry)
