We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Instrument Technician (Offshore)

Location: Akwa Ibom

Job Description

• Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair industrial instrumentation and control systems.
• Perform troubleshooting and fault diagnosis on instruments, sensors, and control loops.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities in line with maintenance plans.
• Read, interpret, and work from P&IDs, loop diagrams, and instrument datasheets.
• Ensure instruments are compliant with operational, safety, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and operations teams during site

Requirements

• Diploma or technical certificate in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as an instrument technician or similar role.
• Good knowledge of industrial instrumentation, control systems, and calibration tools.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with PLC systems, transmitters, valves, and field instruments.
• Physically fit to work in industrial or plant environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
• Offshore travel documents valid for at least one year (BOSIET, OSP, SBC, Medicals, TB, A&D, Audiometry).
