We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Hotel Chef (Cook / Head Chef / Sous Chef depending on level)

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a skilled and passionate Hotel Chef to prepare high-quality meals for guests in accordance with hotel standards.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning menus, cooking meals, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and ensuring excellent food presentation and taste.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of local and continental dishes.
  • Plan and design menus based on hotel standards and guest preferences.
  • Ensure food is prepared in a timely and hygienic manner.
  • Supervise kitchen assistants and other kitchen staff (if applicable).
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the kitchen.
  • Monitor food stock and place orders when necessary.
  • Ensure proper storage of food items to avoid spoilage.
  • Control portion sizes and food quality.
  • Follow health and safety regulations strictly.
  • Handle guest special dietary requests when needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a cook or chef (hotel experience is an advantage).
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques (local and continental dishes).
  • Basic culinary training or catering certificate is a plus.
  • Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
  • Ability to work under pressure and long hours.
  • Creativity in cooking and food presentation.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
