We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Female Support Worker (Care Worker)

Location: Gwarimpa, Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Part-time

Job Description

  • The Olive Prime Aventurine is the first female mental health and drug rehabilitation centre in Abuja.
  • We are looking for caring and responsible Support Workers to join our team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support nurses and clinicians in their daily duties
  • Follow instructions from the nurse in charge at all times
  • Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable and safe
  • Always ensure patients are safe and not left alone
  • Assist patients with personal care such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and making beds
  • Support patients during therapy and recreational activities
  • Help calm or control aggressive patients when needed
  • Supervise cleaning of patient rooms and shared areas
  • Fill observation charts and handover notes carefully
  • Ensure electrical items are switched off when not in use
  • Report any damages and help supervise repairs
  • Carry out any other duties assigned by nurses or clinicians.

Requirements

  • Minimum qualification: SSCE
  • Must live in Gwarimpa or very close to the area
  • Must be kind, patient, and willing to help others
  • Must be able to follow instructions and work with a team.
