With a growing presence across multiple communities, Ruebits is building a leadership volunteer team of experienced professionals who are passionate about contributing their expertise to initiatives that create meaningful and lasting impact for children.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Communications, Brand & Media Manager

Role Overview

  • We are seeking a strategic and creative Communications, Brand & Media Manager to lead how Ruebits is perceived, experienced, and remembered.
  • This role is responsible for shaping the voice, messaging, and storytelling of Ruebits across all platforms ensuring that every piece of communication reflects clarity, consistency, and impact.
  • The ideal candidate understands that communication is not just about content, but about building trust, influencing perception, and growing a community around a purpose-driven mission.
  • This position begins as a mission-driven volunteer role, with the opportunity to evolve into a long-term strategic leadership position as the organization grows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Ruebits’ overall communication and brand strategy
  • Define and maintain a clear, consistent voice and tone across all platforms
  • Oversee messaging for programs, outreach initiatives, campaigns, and partnerships
  • Develop compelling stories, narratives, and impact-driven content
  • Manage and guide all public-facing communication (social media, newsletters, website, announcements)
  • Collaborate closely with the design, marketing, and social media teams to ensure alignment
  • Ensure all communications reflect Ruebits’ values, identity, and long-term vision
  • Support visibility for key initiatives such as One Child One Bible, Clubhouse programs, and community projects
  • Coordinate media opportunities, features, and public engagement where applicable

Candidate Profile
Education:
Bachelor’s or higher degree in:

  • Communications
  • Media Studies
  • Public Relations
  • Journalism
  • Marketing

Technical Competency & Skills:

  • Strong writing and storytelling ability
  • Experience managing brand communication or content strategy
  • Understanding of audience engagement and digital communication
  • Ability to structure messaging across different platforms and audiences
  • Basic understanding of analytics and performance tracking
  • Ability to work with creative teams (design, social media, marketing)
