Job Title: Business Development Executive – Oil & Gas (EPCIM)
Location: Lagos

Reports To: Head of Business Development / Managing Director
Job Summary
- The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and securing business opportunities within the Oil & Gas sector, particularly in EPCIM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation & Maintenance) projects.
- The role requires strong industry knowledge, technical sales capability, and an established network within the sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Oil & Gas EPCIM space
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and industry partners
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure
- Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals aligned with client needs
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to align client requirements with service delivery
- Participate in industry events, networking forums, and client meetings
- Maintain an updated pipeline of prospects and provide regular sales reports
Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of new contracts secured
- Revenue generated from EPCIM projects
- Conversion rate from leads to deals
- Client acquisition and retention rate
- Value of sales pipeline
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 3–7 years’ experience in Business Development or Technical Sales within Oil & Gas (EPCIM preferred)
- Strong understanding of Oil & Gas operations, contracts, and project lifecycle
- Proven track record of winning contracts and meeting revenue targets
- Established network within the Nigerian Oil & Gas industry (IOC/NOC/Service Companies)
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
