We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Field Business Developer

Locations: Enugu, Umuahia - Abia, Onitsha - Anambra, and Warri - Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Field Business Developer to drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, engaging potential clients, and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for field visits, lead generation, and closing sales to meet company targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned locations
  • Conduct daily field visits to prospect and engage potential clients
  • Promote and sell company products/services to customers
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and competitor activities
  • Prepare and submit daily/weekly sales reports
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
  • Follow up on leads and convert them into active customers

Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Number of new clients acquired
  • Sales revenue generated
  • Conversion rate from leads to customers
  • Customer retention rate
  • Daily/weekly field activity reports

Requirements

  • Minimum of OND / HND / B.Sc Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • 1–3 years experience in sales, marketing, or business development (field experience is an advantage)
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets
  • Good knowledge of the local market and territory
  • Must be willing to travel within assigned areas
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
