Job Title: Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer with strong hands-on experience in firewall management and network security.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining security infrastructure to protect the organisation’s systems and data.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, manage, and maintain enterprise firewalls and security appliances
- Monitor network traffic and respond to security incidents and threats
- Implement security policies, procedures, and best practices
- Perform vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation actions
- Troubleshoot firewall and network-related issues
- Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations
- Provide technical support and guidance on cybersecurity matters.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in cybersecurity or network security roles
- Proven hands-on experience with firewall solutions such as Check Point, Palo Alto, Sophos, or similar
- Strong knowledge of network security concepts, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and threat management
- Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards is an added advantage
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+) are a plus
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
