Job Summary
- We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead business development efforts, acquire new clients, and manage strategic accounts within key sectors.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying opportunities, developing strong customer relationships, and delivering tailored ICT solutions that meet client needs.
- The role requires a proactive professional with strong sales industry knowledge and a proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within the public sector and government parastatals.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new customer acquisition.
- Present, promote, and sell the company’s ICT solutions and services to prospective and existing clients.
- Conduct customer needs assessments and cost–benefit analyses to recommend appropriate technology solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Generate leads through prospecting, networking, referrals, and strategic outreach.
- Achieve agreed sales targets and business development objectives within defined timelines.
- Coordinate closely with Presales, Technical, and Operations teams to deliver integrated solutions to clients.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market intelligence reports to management.
- Ensure prompt resolution of customer issues and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
- Continuously improve sales performance through feedback, training, and industry best practices.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager, Account Manager, or Key Account Manager, preferably within the ICT or technology solutions industry.
- Strong knowledge of ICT solutions sales across sectors such as Financial Services, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Telecommunications, Retail, or Construction.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Established relationships with OEM partners and technology distributors is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and CRM platforms.
- Strong understanding of Business Relationship Management (BRM) and customer engagement strategies.
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Highly motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
