Job Title: Service Operations Lead – Consumer Electronics

Locations: Abuja (FCT), Anambra, and Lagos

Job Summary

  • Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for excellence in after-sales service?
  • We are looking for a Service Operations Lead to oversee our Home Appliances Service Centres. In this role, you will be the driving force behind branch-level operations, ensuring that every customer receives world-class support.
  • You will lead a technical team, manage complex spare parts logistics, and maintain high service standards through rigorous field audits and inspections across your territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Excellence: Lead daily service center operations, including technician coordination, repairs, and spare parts management to meet strict company KPIs.
  • Customer Advocacy: Act as the final point of escalation for customer issues, driving initiatives that turn service recovery into long-term brand loyalty.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide direct troubleshooting guidance to technicians and liaise with central technical teams on complex product updates.
  • Field Audits & Inspections: Travel to upcountry service centers and dealer locations to conduct ground-level inspections, ensuring operational compliance and service quality.
  • Franchise Management: Support and monitor service franchisees, providing the guidance necessary to upgrade their service levels and performance.
  • Reporting & Strategy: Analyze performance trends and submit detailed reports to the National Service Manager to drive strategic process improvements.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience: Minimum 8 years in after-sales service management, specifically within the home appliances or consumer electronics sector.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
  • Accountability: A proven track record of "ownership"—taking responsibility for team performance, technical accuracy, and customer trust.
  • Mobility: Full willingness to travel for audits and inspections at upcountry locations and dealer sites.

Technical & Core Competencies:

  • Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of home appliance components and troubleshooting.
  • Leadership: Strong ability to motivate technicians and customer care executives.
  • Systems: Proficiency in Service Management Systems and MS Office tools.
  • Soft Skills: Expert-level conflict resolution, vendor management, and a customer-centric mindset.
