Job Title: Agronomist (Oil Palm, Coconut & Plantain Specialist)

Location: Abeokuta, Ogun

Job Summary

• Astracrest is seeking a skilled and experienced Agronomist to manage and oversee crop production across our agribusiness real estate projects.
• The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in cultural crop practices and production systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and supervise crop production activities
• Manage cultivation of oil palm, banana, coconut, and arable crops
• Monitor soil health, irrigation, pest and disease control
• Provide technical guidance on best agronomic practices
• Conduct field inspections and ensure optimal crop yield
• Maintain accurate farm records and reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, or related field
• Proven experience in oil palm, banana, coconut, and arable crop production
• Strong knowledge of modern farming techniques and inputs
• Ability to work independently and manage field operations
• Good reporting and communication skills.

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 / Month.
