We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Workshop Manager

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Workshop Manager with over 20 years of hands-on experience in workshop operations, preferably within the automotive or technical service industry.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily workshop activities, ensuring efficiency, quality service delivery, and effective team management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all workshop operations and staff activities
  • Ensure timely and high-quality completion of repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Diagnose complex technical issues and provide expert guidance to technicians
  • Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization within the workshop
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper use of tools and equipment
  • Prepare reports on workshop performance, productivity, and costs
  • Enforce company policies, procedures, and discipline among staff
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate workshop personnel
  • Liaise with management on operational improvements and customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Minimum of 20 years proven experience in workshop management or a similar role
  • Strong technical knowledge (automotive/mechanical background preferred)
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Relevant certifications or technical qualifications will be an added advantage
