Job Summary

• We are looking for a creative, highly skilled, and autonomous Barman/Mixologist to lead our beverage program.
• The ideal candidate is a master of classic cocktails, a creator of signature blends, and an expert in premium spirits.
• You should be a "pro" who can command a bar, manage inventory with integrity, and work flawlessly under pressure without needing a supervisor to watch your every move.

Key Responsibilities

• Mixology & Craft: Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails and beverages with precision, speed, and flair.
• Beverage Consultancy: Educate both guests and waitstaff on spirit profiles, wine pairings, and new additions to the bar menu.
• Inventory & Quality Control: Manage bar stock, monitor expiration dates, and ensure "zero waste" practices. You are responsible for the bar’s profitability.
• Independent Operation: From opening the bar to closing the books, you must be capable of running the entire bar operation independently.
• Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a pristine, organized, and hygienic bar environment at all times—your workspace is the center of the lounge.
• Customer Interaction: Engage with guests at the bar with sound communication, building rapport, and a loyal customer base.

Requirements

• Expert Mixology Skills: Deep knowledge of classic cocktails, contemporary mixology techniques, and garnish art.
• Spirit Expertise: Advanced knowledge of alcoholic beverages, including the ability to distinguish between different grades of whiskey, cognac, and gin.
• Nightlife Experience: Previous experience in a high-volume club or luxury lounge is essential. You must be able to handle "rush hour" without losing your cool.
• Integrity & Trust: Must be honest and reliable in handling stock and cash/POS transactions.
• Communication: Strong, professional verbal skills to interact with high-end clientele.
• Location: Must reside within or near Ikeja,Ikosi, Ketu, or Magodo.
