Job Title: Junior Social Media Manager

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

• The Junior Social Media Manager supports the planning and execution of the company’s social media activities.
• This role focuses on content creation, posting, engagement, and basic analytics, while learning to manage platforms effectively under supervision.

Key Responsibilities
Content Execution:

• Createand publishcontent across social media platforms
• Write captions, source visuals, and ensure posts align with brand guidelines
• Follow the approved content calendar consistently

Social Media Management:

• Schedule and post content using social media tools
• Maintain active and up-to-date social media pages
• Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and visual identity

Community Engagement:

• Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly
• Engage with followers (likes, replies, interactions)
• Escalate sensitive or complex issues to the senior manager

Content Support:

• Assist in basic graphic design and video editing (e.g., Canva, CapCut)
• Capture simple content (photos/videos) when required
• Support campaign execution and promotions

Monitoring & Reporting:

• Trackperformance metrics (likes, shares, comments, reach)
• Assist in preparing weekly or monthly reports
• Monitor trends and competitor activity

Administrative Support:

• Maintain content libraries and social media assets
• Ensure coordination with designers, marketers, or vendors
• Ensure proper documentation of social media activities

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
• 0–2 years experience in social media management or content creation
• NYSC corps members or fresh graduates can fit this role

Skills & Competencies:

• Content creation and copywriting skills
• Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok)
• Design/video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, etc.)
• Good communication and responsiveness
• Willingness to learn and take feedback
• Attention to detail and consistency
