Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage all aspects of cost planning, budgeting, and financial control of construction projects.
• The successful candidate will ensure that projects are delivered within budget while maintaining quality and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents.
• Monitor project costs and cash flow throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate and negotiate contracts, variations, and final accounts.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost planning for new projects.
• Assess and certify contractor payment applications.
• Manage risk, value engineering, and cost control measures.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms, company policies, and industry standards.
• Prepare regular cost reports and financial statements for management.
• Resolve cost-related disputes and provide professional advice where required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Professional certification (e.g., NIQS, RICS) is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and contracts.
• Proficiency in cost management software and Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.

Salary
N300,000 - N350,000 per month.
