Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Sangotedo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are hiring a competent and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations and strengthen internal financial systems
• The ideal candidate must be a strong leader, analytical, detail-oriented, and committed to financial accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present accurate financial reports in line with IFRS standards.
• Conduct financial analysis and support strategic financial planning.
• Manage payroll processing and ensure proper tax compliance.
• Oversee cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audit processes.
• Supervise procurement processes and inventory/resource management.
• Implement and monitor internal controls and risk management systems.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Utilize QuickBooks and other ERP systems effectively for financial management.
• Lead and supervise the accounts team to ensure efficiency and accountability.
• Manage stakeholder financial reporting and communication.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• 3-4 years proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in financial reporting, financial analysis, payroll and taxation, audit, cash flow management, procurement, and inventory management.
• Strong working knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and FIRS regulations.
• Familiarity with regulatory bodies such as CBN, SEC, ICAN, and ANAN.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Relevant academic qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certification (ICAN/ANAN) is an added advantage.
