Description

  • We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Battery & System Analyst.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and synchronization of power systems at cell tower sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site inspections and surveys of existing power equipment and plan installations.
  • Verify delivery, condition, and correct positioning of rectifier cabinets, modules, BUBs, batteries, and accessories.
  • Decommission old rectifier/power systems and replace with new hybrid rectifier cabinets.
  • Install and secure outdoor hybrid power systems, Li-Ion batteries, breaker and battery cables, earthing, and signal cables.
  • Install, test, and commission diesel generators (DG) and fuel tanks, ensuring proper cabling, alignment, and leak-free operation.
  • Perform system cutover with minimal downtime, test and commission installations, report task completion, and monitor site performance post-installation.
  • Integrate solar panels and controllers with rectifier systems and ensure optimal operation.

Requirements

  • BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferably with specialization in Power Systems).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in power systems engineering.
  • Strong understanding of power electronics (AC/DC, DC/DC, DC/AC).
  • Proficiency in power systems software tools.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy systems, inverter controls, protection settings, and grid/substation designs.
  • Experience in solar and/or grid-based projects.
  • Hands-on experience with Li-Ion battery technologies.

Remuneration
N326,000 monthly (Net).
