We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Structure Fitter
Location: Lagos
Roles & Responsibilities
- Fits and assembles structural frameworks, such as angle iron, H-beams, and plate steel,
- Using hand tools and welding equipment and following blueprint specifications.
- Periodically compares dimensions of assembly to blueprint specifications, using square, rule, and calipers
- Tack-welds fitted parts together or direct Welder to tack-weld parts.
- Carry out heat straightening of parts with acetylene torch
- Marking of control line before fit-up of material.
- Carry out edge preparation of structural member by using power tools
- Ensure dimensional control by using auto level and other dimension control equipments.
Qualifications
- 3f.4f fcaw welding certificate
- 5 years minimum experience.
