We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Structural 6GR Welder
Location: Lagos
Description
Roles & Responsibilities but not limited to;
- Must be able to perform duties of a fabricator on a daily basis
- Job duties include but not limited to welding, gouging and grinding
- Ability to weld in all fillet weld position
- Ability to weld in all groove weld position including TKY joints
- Carry out cosmetic on finished weld
- Ability to connect, assemble and use FCAW and SMAW welding machine
- Must be able to use other equipments like power bushing machine, grinding machine, chipping hammer and other hand tools used in welding and cosmetics.
- Carry out pre heating of parts using acetylene torch
- Use tempstick to avoid excessive heat input and distortion.
- Ability to read and understand WPS.
- Carry out repair in any defective joint
- Carry out housekeeping.
Qualifications
- Carbon steel, 6GR SMAW+FCAW welding certificate
- Minimum of 5 years experience.
