Job Title: Organized Kitchen Supervisor

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and organized Kitchen Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure food quality, and maintain hygiene standards.
• The ideal candidate will assist the Chef in managing kitchen staff, coordinating food preparation, and ensuring smooth and efficient service in line with hotel standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise kitchen staff, assigning duties and monitoring performance.
• Ensure all food preparation and cooking activities meet quality and presentation standards.
• Assist with menu planning, portion control, and cost management.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff to improve efficiency and skill levels.
• Monitor inventory, order supplies, and minimize wastage.
• Coordinate with the Chef, Food & Beverage team, and management for smooth service during busy periods.
• Ensure equipment is properly used and report any malfunctions to maintenance promptly.
• Uphold hotel policies and ensure a safe, professional, and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• OND, HND, or relevant certification in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or related fields
• Proven experience as a Kitchen Supervisor, Senior Cook, or similar role in a hotel or restaurant.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Team player with a passion for delivering excellent service.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
