Job Title: Quality Control / Quality Assurance Engineer
Locations: Lagos, and Gusau - Zamfara
Employment Type: Contract
Job Summary
- We are seeking a qualified and experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our construction team in Lagos and Zamfara.
- The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in civil construction processes, with a particular focus on concrete mix design, testing, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control procedures on site
- Monitor and ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulations
- Supervise concrete mix design, batching, placement, and curing processes
- Conduct material inspections and testing (concrete, aggregates, etc.)
- Prepare QA/QC reports, documentation, and method statements
- Identify defects and ensure corrective actions are implemented
- Liaise with site engineers, consultants, and project managers on quality-related issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related fields
- 3–5 years’ experience in civil construction
- Proven hands-on experience with concrete mix design and quality control
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC standards and procedures in construction
- Good reporting and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively on-site in either Lagos or Zamfara.
Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 per month.
