We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Electrician

Location: Kuje, Abuja
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

• Prime University is seeking a skilled and dependable Electrician to handle installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across the institution.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs with minimal downtime
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure systems are safe and fully functional
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations
• Respond promptly to electrical issues and emergencies
• Support ongoing facility maintenance and improvement projects

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years’ practical experience as an electrician
• Relevant technical certification or training in electrical installation and maintenance
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-detection skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Good understanding of safety procedures and regulations.

• Competitive and based on experience.
