Established in September 1997, TNL Pharma Limited is a member of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Marketing Companies in Nigeria. It is also a member of several trade bodies such as World Trade Organisation (WTO), Nigerian GermanTrade Delegation and Nigerian Turkish Chamber of Commerce. Our Manufacturing plants are located in Lagos for both Pharmaceuticals and Neutraceuticals.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Account Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

  • The Accountant is responsible for managing the company’s financial records, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, maintaining compliance with statutory regulations, and supporting management with financial analysis and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and general ledger
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare and process payroll, including statutory deductions
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, PAYE, WHT, Company Income Tax, etc.)
  • Prepare and file statutory returns
  • Monitor budgets and control costs
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Conduct audit preparations and ensure audit readiness
  • Liaise with auditors and implement audit recommendations
  • Implement and maintain strong internal controls
  • Provide financial advice and analysis to management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • BSc / HND in Accounting
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience
  • Must be ICAN certified
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Good understanding of Nigerian tax laws and statutory compliance
  • Strong knowledge of auditing processes and practices
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and reporting skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
