We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Gardener

Location: Kuje, Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

• Prime University is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Gardener to maintain and improve the aesthetic and environmental quality of the University grounds.
• This role requires consistency, physical endurance, and pride in delivering clean, well-kept surroundings.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns, gardens, trees, and landscaped areas across the campus
• Plant, water, prune, and fertilise flowers, shrubs, and trees
• Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment
• Control weeds, pests, and diseases using appropriate methods
• Ensure cleanliness and proper waste disposal within assigned areas
• Support landscaping projects and seasonal planting activities.

Requirements

• 3 - 5 years’ experience in gardening or grounds maintenance
• Basic knowledge of plants, soil care, and landscaping techniques
• Ability to use gardening tools and machinery effectively
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying conditions
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
