Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive market growth, customer acquisition, and strategic partnerships for our telemedicine and Learning Management System (LMS) platform across Nigeria and selected African markets.
  • The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, build strategic partnerships, drive revenue growth, and support market expansion by positioning our digital health and healthcare education solutions to hospitals, healthcare professionals, organizations, and institutions.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales:

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to grow market share and revenue.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across healthcare and learning ecosystems.
  • Generate, qualify, and convert leads into paying customers.
  • Conduct product presentations, demos, and business pitches.
  • Negotiate and close commercial deals.

Partnership Management:

  • Build and manage strategic partnerships with healthcare institutions, training organizations, insurers, and corporate organizations.
  • Identify partnership opportunities that support growth and market penetration.
  • Manage partner relationships to ensure long-term value.

Market Expansion:

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
  • Identify target markets and customer segments.
  • Support business expansion into new markets within Africa.

Customer Acquisition & Retention:

  • Drive customer onboarding and account growth.
  • Work with internal teams to improve customer experience.
  • Support customer retention and recurring revenue growth.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare and education sectors.
  • Represent the company at business meetings, networking events, and industry engagements.

Reporting:

  • Prepare periodic sales and business development reports.
  • Track pipeline performance, revenue performance, and partnership progress.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development, sales, or partnerships.
  • Experience in health-tech, SaaS, telemedicine, or ed-tech is an advantage.
