Job Title: Social Media / Community Manager

Location: Isolo, Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Description

  • The Social Media & Community Manager will be responsible for managing all social media channels across Sage Grey Technologies’ products.
  • The role will focus on driving engagement, building and nurturing online communities, executing the content calendar, and supporting the shift from purely organic to hybrid (organic + paid) growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and manage the monthly Content Calendar across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), TikTok, and other emerging platforms.
  • Create, schedule, and publish high-quality social media content (posts, Reels, Stories, carousels, threads, etc.).
  • Build and grow engaged communities around each product and the Sage Grey brand.
  • Monitor daily interactions, respond to comments, messages, and mentions professionally and promptly.
  • Develop and implement community engagement initiatives, contests, and user-generated content campaigns.
  • Track social media performance metrics (engagement rate, reach, follower growth, sentiment) and provide weekly insights.
  • Collaborate closely with the Graphics Designer, Video Editor, and Digital Marketing Officer to ensure content quality and alignment.
  • Identify trending topics and opportunities relevant to the Nigerian tech and SME ecosystem.
  • Support paid social media campaigns by creating ad creatives and monitoring performance.
  • Contribute to crisis management and reputation monitoring on social platforms.
