Job Title: Senior Site Engineer

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to lead the delivery of complex construction and development projects, ensuring alignment between design intent, construction execution and commercial objectives.
• The role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership capability and the ability to coordinate across design, construction execution and development functions and is not limited to coordination or reporting functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of multiple or complex projects from inception to completion
• Develop project programmes, timelines and delivery strategies
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to required quality standards
• Monitor project timelines, deliverables and dependencies
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Ensure adherence to project schedules and deadlines
• Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
• Ensure alignment between design intent and on-site execution
• Work closely with design teams to resolve technical issues
• Supervise Engineers and site teams
• Ensure construction activities are progressing according to plan
• Monitor quality and enforce standards across all trades
• Monitor project budgets and cost performance
• Review variations, claims and contractor submissions
• Support procurement and contract decisions
• Manage relationships with consultants, contractors, regulators and partners
• Act as primary interface between development leadership and delivery teams
• Lead project meetings and reporting structures
• Use AutoCAD for reviewing drawings and basic markups
• Use project management tools for planning, tracking and reporting
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reports
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, statutory and safety requirements
• Establish reporting and governance frameworks for project delivery

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in construction management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years’ experience in construction/project delivery
• Strong experience in building and infrastructure projects
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings
• Strong leadership and coordination skills
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders
• Familiarity with project management tools
