Job Summary

  • We are seeking an International Student Admissions and Visa Officer to process students applications to study abroad.
  • The ideal candidate must have proven experience in counselling students on the international study process, be knowledgeable about the international admissions process, have excellent communication skills, and have a proven ability to promote education services.
  • This role also requires meeting set student targets within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students, parents, and educational institutions.
  • Provide counselling to students regarding study abroad opportunities, universities, courses, and admission processes.
  • Assist students in preparing applications, including personal statements, recommendation letters, document submissions..
  • Provide tailored guidance to prospective students on study abroad opportunities by advising on suitable academic pathways, destination countries, programme options, and service packages based on their educational goals, preferences, and budget
  • Assist students in understanding tuition costs, living expenses, and available options to help them make informed decisions about studying abroad.
  • Guide students through visa application procedures and financial requirements.
  • Conduct seminars, workshops, and webinars on study abroad opportunities.
  • Maintain relationships with partner universities and institutions.
  • Stay updated on international education trends, visa policies, and scholarship opportunities.
  • Follow up with students and provide ongoing support until they are successfully enrolled.
  • Create engaging content for social media, blogs, and marketing materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of prior experience in student recruiting, education consultancy, and study abroad services is necessary
  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed set monthly targets - for offers, tuition deposits, and successful visas.
  • Ability to transfer applicants into successful enrolments.
  • Strong knowledge of study abroad programs and application processes, particularly in the UK, USA, Australia, Canada, Ireland, and Europe.
  • Knowledge of international university admission processes and visa regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
