St. Dominic Catholic Hospital is a 64 bed hospital located in Ogungbade, off New Ife road Ibadan. St Dominic Catholic Hospital is the vision of the Dominican Sisters of St Catherine of Siena (Italy). We offer various medical services such as: General medicine, internal medicine, O & G, Laboratory, and Radiology, to mention just a few. The hospital is run in collaboration with foreign partners. We are registered and licensed by the Corporate Affairs Commission and the Ministry of Health. Also, we are accredited by the NHIS as both primary and secondary healthcare providers.

Job Description

• St. Dominic Catholic Hospital is seeking a dedicated Horticulturist/Agricultural Scientist to manage and maintain the hospital’s green environment, support landscaping activities, and contribute to environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain hospital gardens, lawns, and green areas.
• Plan and implement landscaping and beautification projects.
• Cultivate and manage plants, flowers, and trees within the hospital premises.
• Ensure proper irrigation, soil management, and plant health.
• Implement environmentally sustainable practices.
• Advise management on agricultural or landscaping improvements.

Requirements
Education:

• Degree or Diploma in Horticulture, Agriculture, or related field

Experience:

• Relevant experience in agricultural management is an advantage

Skills & Competencies:

• Knowledge of horticulture and plant care
• Ability to manage outdoor projects
• Attention to detail and environmental awareness
• Creativity in landscaping.

Salary
N70,000 - N150,000 per month.
