We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • The Business Development Manager will be the primary driver for the expansion of Uncle Stan’s Foods.
  • You will be responsible for identifying high-potential locations for new outlets, growing diverse sales channels, and securing strategic partnerships.
  • This role is critical to scaling our physical footprint and increasing overall market share.

Key Responsibilities

  • Expansion & Site Acquisition: Identify, evaluate, and secure strategic new locations for Uncle Stan’s Foods outlets.
  • Strategic Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets
  • Partnership Management: Build and maintain high-value relationships with vendors, landlords, and corporate partners to secure long-term contracts.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct ongoing research into competitor pricing, customer demographics, and food industry trends to keep the brand competitive.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Operations and Production teams to ensure new locations and partnerships are viable and supported.
  • Performance Tracking: Maintain a pipeline of leads and provide weekly reports on sales targets, expansion progress, and revenue growth.
  • Brand Representation: Act as the lead ambassador for Uncle Stan’s Foods at industry events, tastings, and high-level business negotiations.

Requirements & Skills

  • 3-5 years in Business Development or Sales, specifically within the Food, FMCG, or Hospitality sectors.
  • Proven track record of closing deals and securing contracts with corporate clients or landlords.
  • Existing relationships within the retail or corporate food space is a major advantage.
  • Exceptional presentation and pitching skills (written and verbal).
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work autonomously and meet aggressive expansion targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Excel (for sales forecasting), and reporting tools.
