We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Senior Warehouse Supervisor
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Responsibilties
- Supervise and coordinate all inbound and outbound warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Oversee inventory management processes including cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and distribution teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of warehouse associates, forklift operators, and junior supervisors.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and implement improvement plans where necessary.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the warehouse team.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing large warehouse teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with inventory management systems and Warehouse Management Systems.
- Background in FMCG, manufacturing, retail distribution, or third-party logistics (3PL) is an advantage.
