We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Fleet Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Fleet Manager to oversee the management of the company’s vehicles, dispatch bikes, and delivery operations across all outlets.
  • The ideal candidate will ensure optimal vehicle performance, efficient dispatch operations, timely deliveries, and strict compliance with safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities
Fleet Management:

  • Manage the company’s fleet of vehicles and dispatch bikes
  • Ensure all vehicles and bikes are properly maintained and in good working condition
  • Monitor servicing schedules, repairs, and documentationTrack vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and operational efficiency
  • Maintain accurate fleet records and reports

Dispatch & Delivery Management:

  • Supervise and manage dispatch riders across all outlets
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of customer orders
  • Monitor rider performance, attendance, and productivity
  • Track delivery timelines and ensure service efficiency
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of delivery bikes
  • Enforce safety, operational, and customer service standardsResolve delivery delays, complaints, and operational issues

Driver & Rider Supervision:

  • Manage drivers and dispatch riders effectively
  • Enforce discipline, punctuality, and professionalism
  • Handle misconduct, complaints, and performance issues
  • Conduct routine performance monitoring and reporting

Operational Control & Reporting:

  • Monitor fuel usage and prevent wastage or misuse
  • Maintain records of accidents, breakdowns, and incidents
  • Provide regular reports to management on fleet and delivery performance
  • Work closely with Operations to support business needs across outlets

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Fleet Manager, Logistics Supervisor, or similar role
  • 3–5 years relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and fleet operations
  • Experience managing dispatch riders and delivery operations is an advantage
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Good understanding of logistics, routing, and delivery systems
  • Ability to manage multiple teams across locations
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
