Job Title: Hotel Maintenance Officer
Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Job Summary
- A hotel maintenance officer is responsible for keeping the hotel’s equipment, facilities, and systems in good working condition.
- The role focuses on repairs, safety, preventive maintenance, and ensuring guests experience a comfortable environment.
Common job titles include:
- Maintenance Officer
- Hotel Technician
- Facility Maintenance Officer
- Maintenance Supervisor
- Chief Engineer (senior level).
Typical duties include:
- Repairing electrical, plumbing, and mechanical faults
- Maintaining air conditioners, generators, elevators, and water systems
- Inspecting guest rooms and public areas for maintenance issues
- Performing preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns
- Responding quickly to emergency repair requests
- Monitoring hotel safety systems such as fire alarms and CCTV
- Coordinating with external contractors when needed
- Keeping maintenance records and reports
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Skills required:
- Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Ability to use maintenance tools and equipment

Salary
N120,000 per month.
