Job Title: Inventory Manager
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Officer to manage and oversee stock across warehouse and outlet locations.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring proper storage, coordinating stock movements, and supporting demand planning to prevent stock shortages or excesses.
- This role is critical in ensuring operational efficiency, minimizing loss, and supporting timely order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management & Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records (quantities, locations, and condition)
- Record all stock movements (receipts, transfers, dispatch, adjustments)
- Prepare periodic inventory and stock reports
- Monitor stock levels and notify management of low stock
Receiving & Dispatch:
- Inspect incoming goods for accuracy and quality
- Ensure proper documentation and sign-off for all deliveries
- Oversee accurate and timely dispatch of orders
- Ensure goods are properly packaged before delivery
Stock Control & Storage:
- Ensure proper storage conditions for all inventory
- Implement and maintain FIFO (First In, First Out) system
- Safeguard stock against damage, loss, or theft
- Maintain organized and accessible warehouse structure
Demand Planning & Forecasting:
- Monitor fast-moving and slow-moving items
- Support stock forecasting and replenishment planning
- Ensure availability of inventory to meet business demands
Stock Count & Reporting:
- Conduct regular physical stock counts
- Reconcile discrepancies between physical and recorded stock
- Investigate and report variances
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with sales, operations, and finance teams
- Provide stock updates to support business decisions
- Assist with procurement and supply chain coordination
Requirements
- Minimum of OND or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in inventory, warehouse, or store management
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good knowledge of inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of stock control principles (FIFO, stock rotation, etc.)
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams
Additional Requirements (Preferred):
- Experience in retail, manufacturing, or consumer goods industry
- Familiarity with accounting/inventory software (e.g., Sage)
- Experience with procurement and supply chain processes.
Salary
N250,000 - N350,000 per month.
