Job Title: Accountant

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos (Oversight across Ikoyi, Victoria Island, Lekki, Surulere & Abuja branches)

About the Role

• We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to oversee the company’s financial operations, statutory compliance, payroll management, financial reporting, and strategic financial planning across multiple locations.
• The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, compliance with Nigerian financial regulations, and providing management with timely financial insights to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily financial operations and transaction processing across all business locations.
• Prepare financial reports, management accounts, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports.
• Reconcile bank accounts, invoices, petty cash, and financial records.
• Oversee payroll processing, PAYE, pension remittance, NHF, HMO reconciliations, and statutory compliance.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian financial regulations and tax laws.
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reconciliation reports.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable processes.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders.
• Support annual audit processes and statutory reporting.
• Supervise and provide guidance to the Accounts & Administration Officer.
• Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent is required.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, payroll administration, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in Sage Accounting Software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and reconciliation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Experience in retail, consumer goods, or multi-branch operations is an added advantage.

Salary and Benefits
