Peridot n Pink is an interior and exterior design firm with expertise in residential, commercial, retail, and hotel projects. Based in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. It was established in 2005 by Jokotade Bamiro, who has become a prominent expert in the industry. The company design combines extraordinary talent and global experiences to create spaces, in different climes, that can be as “cutting edge” or “timeless” as the exceptionality of each of its clients.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Female Interior Architect

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

  • We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Female Interior Architect to join our growing team.
  • This is a key in-office role responsible for supporting design development, producing technical drawings and 3D visualizations, engaging with clients, and ensuring that all project executions align strictly with approved design concepts and company standards.
  • We are looking for a hands-on, design-driven professional who can effectively bridge the gap between concept development and on-site execution.

Key Responsibilities
Design & Technical Development:

  • Produce detailed 2D drawings, working drawings, and high-quality 3D visualizations for projects.
  • Translate approved mood boards, pinboards, and design concepts into accurate and buildable technical drawings.
  • Prepare and review layouts for furniture, lighting, electrical points, finishes, and spatial planning.
  • Ensure all issued drawings are clear, coordinated, and executable on site.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers to resolve technical design issues before and during project execution.

Site Coordination & Supervision:

  • Conduct site visits a minimum of three (3) times weekly.
  • Ensure all site work aligns with approved drawings, 3D renderings, and overall design intent.
  • Identify and address deviations from approved designs promptly.
  • Support Project Managers in supervising artisans, contractors, and installations to ensure quality execution.
  • Provide detailed feedback and updates after each site visit.

Client Engagement:

  • Lead or support initial client meetings, including design consultations and requirement gathering.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries regarding layouts, finishes, concepts, and design decisions.
  • Guide clients through the design process while maintaining the company’s creative direction and standards.
  • Present drawings, concepts, and visualizations confidently and professionally.

Cross-Department Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the Project Management, Procurement, and Production teams.
  • Ensure seamless communication between design and execution teams.
  • Support procurement by providing accurate specifications for materials, finishes, and furniture.
  • Assist in resolving production or site challenges from a design and technical perspective.

Quality Control & Compliance:

  • Ensure strict adherence to company standards, approved concepts, and design guidelines.
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail across all drawings and project deliverables.
  • Enforce accountability where design instructions or specifications are not properly followed.

Requirements

  • Female candidate with a Degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in interior design or architectural practice.
  • Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of construction detailing, furniture production, and site execution processes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.
  • Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of taking initiative.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and meet deadlines.
