We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Welder
Location: Lagos
Job Purpose
- The Artisans are responsible for carrying out skilled and semi-skilled construction activities in their respective trades to support project execution.
- They are required to perform assigned tasks efficiently, safely, and in compliance with approved specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding and fabrication works on structural steel and metal components.
- Operate welding machines and related tools safely.
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
- Ensure weld quality and proper finishing of fabricated components.
General Responsibilities:
- Execute assigned construction and maintenance tasks professionally.
- Follow approved drawings, instructions, and specifications.
- Ensure proper handling and use of tools, equipment, and materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
- Adhere strictly to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies.
- Report defects, hazards, and material shortages to supervisors.
- Support timely completion of project activities.
- Work collaboratively with other artisans and project teams.

Requirements
- Welding certification or Trade Test qualification.
- Knowledge of SMAW, MIG, TIG, or gas welding techniques.
