We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Iron Bender

Location: Lagos

Job Purpose

• The Artisans are responsible for carrying out skilled and semi-skilled construction activities in their respective trades to support project execution.
• They are required to perform assigned tasks efficiently, safely, and in compliance with approved specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

General Responsibilities

• Execute assigned construction and maintenance tasks professionally.
• Follow approved drawings, instructions, and specifications.
• Ensure proper handling and use of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Adhere strictly to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies.
• Report defects, hazards, and material shortages to supervisors.
• Support timely completion of project activities.
• Work collaboratively with other artisans and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut, bend, and fix reinforcement steel according to structural drawings.
• Prepare reinforcement cages and install steel bars for concrete works.
• Ensure correct spacing, lapping, and placement of reinforcements.
• Interpret bending schedules accurately.

Requirements

• Experience in reinforcement and steel fixing works.
• Ability to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules.
