We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Mason

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Purpose

• The Mason  is responsible for carrying out skilled and semi-skilled construction activities in their respective trades to support project execution.
• They are required to perform assigned tasks efficiently, safely, and in compliance with approved specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

General Responsibilities 

• Execute assigned construction and maintenance tasks professionally.

• Follow approved drawings, instructions, and specifications.

• Ensure proper handling and use of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Adhere strictly to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies.
• Report defects, hazards, and material shortages to supervisors.
• Support timely completion of project activities.
• Work collaboratively with other artisans and project teams.

• Quality of work delivered

Key Responsibilities:

• Lay blocks, bricks, and stones according to approved drawings.
• Carry out plastering, concreting, screeding, and finishing works.
• Construct foundations, walls, and other structural elements.
• Ensure alignment, leveling, and proper curing of concrete works.

Requirements

• Trade Test certification or equivalent experience.
• Good knowledge of masonry tools and construction techniques.
