Job Title: Head of Sales

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Summary 

  • Our client is seeking a results-driven Head of Sales to drive revenue growth, lead client acquisition across corporate and SME segments, and manage a high-performing sales team while overseeing key partnerships and sales performance.
  • The Head of Sales will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the acquisition of corporate, SME, and high-value clients. The role involves leading and scaling the sales function, identifying new market opportunities, and building strong relationships to support business expansion within the fintech space.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth through the acquisition of corporate, SME, and high-value clients.
  • Identify and develop new market opportunities, strategic partnerships, and distribution channels.
  • Build, lead, and scale a high-performing sales team across multiple regions.
  • Set clear KPIs, sales targets, and performance metrics, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop the sales team to achieve optimal performance.
  • Foster a results-driven and performance-oriented sales culture.
  • Drive acquisition of key private sector clients (corporates, SMEs, institutions)
  • Lead the acquisition of key private sector clients, including corporates, SMEs, and institutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee major deal negotiations and ensure successful closures.
  • Ensure excellent customer experience and implement effective client retention strategies.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.

Requirements

  • First degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Professional certification is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in sales, with significant experience in leadership roles.
  • Proven experience within the financial services industry, preferably in the fintech space.
  • Strong track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
