Vaste Holdings is building a regulated investment and savings platform for the Nigerian retail market — enabling individuals to onboard, fund a wallet, and access structured investment products through a secure, compliant digital experience.

Job Title: Mobile Developer (React Native)

Location: Lagos

The role

• We are a growing asset management and fintech firm looking for a Cross-Platform Mobile Developer with good years of experience.
• Qualified candidate will build and maintain mobile applications for retail investors, portfolio tracking, and real-time asset management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile apps (iOS & Android) using React Native.
• Build portfolio management dashboards showing asset allocation, returns, risk metrics, and transaction history.
• Integrate REST APIs for user authentication, trade execution, fund transfers, and market data.
• Implement secure storage, biometric login, certificate pinning, and encryption for fintech compliance.
• Optimize performance for large financial datasets (e.g., historical NAVs, price feeds, transaction logs).
• Collaborate in-office 2 days/week with backend engineers, product managers, and QA teams.

Required experience and skills Technical skills

• 4-5 years of hands-on of professional mobile development experience.
• Strong proficiency in React Native (TypeScript).
• Proven experience in fintech, asset management, or wealth management (portfolio apps, investment dashboards, trading interfaces).
• Experience with state management (Redux, Bloc, Provider, or MobX).
• Familiarity with financial charts (MPAndroidChart, Victory Native, flchart).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, WebSockets (for live prices), and offline data persistence.
• Version control (Git) and CI/CD basics. • Ability to work in a fast‑paced but supportive fintech environment. Fintech and regulatory experience
• Working knowledge of SEC Nigeria regulations, fund management, or roboadvisory concepts.
• Experience with Nigerian fintech APIs (Flutterwave, Paystack, or banking gateways).
• Published apps on Google Play Store / Apple App Store.
