Summary

• Avocado Virtual Solutions is recruiting for a client and is looking for a creative, trend-aware Video Editor & Social Media Assistant to join the team in a full-time remote role.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw video content from brand shoots into high-performing social media content
• Follow brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style
• Stay up to date with TikTok, Instagram Reels, and viral content trends
• Repurpose one piece of content into multiple engaging clips without making them feel repetitive
• Create short-form videos optimized for engagement and conversions
• Design simple short carousel posts for Instagram
• Schedule content across social media platforms
• Write captions and relevant hashtags to support each post
• Assist with maintaining a consistent posting schedule.

Requirements

• Strong experience editing short-form content for TikTok and Instagram Reels
• Good understanding of viral hooks, pacing, transitions, and storytelling
• Ability to work quickly and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with social media scheduling tools
• Creative eye for clean, playful, family-friendly branding
• Ability to independently identify content opportunities and trends
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
