Job Title: Accountant

Location: Ajah, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Restaurant Accountant with hospitality industry experience to manage financial records, monitor daily sales, control expenses, and ensure accurate accounting operations within the restaurant.
• The ideal candidate must understand restaurant accounting processes, inventory control, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily financial transactions and accounting records
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, and revenue generation
• Reconcile sales reports, POS transactions, and bank statements
• Handle payroll preparation and staff financial records
• Monitor inventory costing and stock reconciliation
• Ensure proper documentation of invoices, payments, and expenses
• Prepare budgets and support management with financial planning
• Maintain compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Assist with tax preparation and statutory financial obligations

Requirements

• HND/B.Sc in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–4 years experience as an Accountant in the hospitality or restaurant industry
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and restaurant financial operations
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Good analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Must reside in Ajah or nearby areas.

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 per month.
