Job Title: Entry-Level Accountant

Location: Ilupeju, Lagos

Description

• A reputable IT company based in Ilupeju, Lagos, is seeking to hire a detail-oriented and reliable Entry-Level Accountant to support its finance and accounting operations.
• The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounting entries.
• Record and reconcile daily transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support tax filing, audit preparation, and compliance with financial regulations.
• Monitor cash flow, identify discrepancies, and support process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 0–2 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role (NYSC experience counts).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, email communication, and basic accounting software.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and strong organizational skills.
