Job Title: Phone Support & Business Development Partner

Location: Lagos (Remote)

Role Summary

  • We are looking for a couple of outstanding people in Nigeria to be our voice on the phone and our operations partner. 
  • You will be the voice and engine behind our sales.
  • Answer and return calls, WhatsApp, and emails for roofing, mortgages, rentals, and other services.
  • Qualify leads, move them through the pipeline, and follow up until each lead has a clear outcome.
  • Keep trackers, routes, and tasks organized so field teams and back office know exactly what to do next.
  • Use simple tools and AI to stay on top of everything.
  • Your success is measured by closed deals + clean, reliable operations.

Description

  • We are looking for a Remote Phone Sales & Operations Partner in Nigeria to:
    • Keep our daily operations and follow‑ups organized.
    • This is not a basic VA job – it is a long term role for someone who is strong on the phone, disciplined with follow‑up, and comfortable with systems.
    • We want someone who is sharp, reliable, ambitious, and ready to grow into a long-term operations leadership position. 

Key Responsibilities
Phone Support & Business Development:

  • Call and follow up with warm leads from our websites, ads, and referrals.
  • Ask the right questions, qualify prospects, and clearly explain next steps. Script and training provided.
  • Move leads from “interested” to “booked appointment” and then to “closed deal”.
  • Use WhatsApp, SMS, and email to send reminders, links, and updates.
  • Work with the supervisor to hit monthly deal and revenue targets and suggest ideas to improve close rates.

Phone Support & Customer Contact:

  • Answer incoming calls in a clear, neutral, confident tone.
  • Return missed calls quickly and make sure people feel heard and helped.
  • Confirm appointments, explain documents needed (for mortgages / loans), and keep customers updated. Training Provided.
  • Escalate complex questions to the CEO with a clear summary (not chaos).

Routes, Leads & Daily Operations (Roofing / Field Work):

  • Log all leads and conversations into our CRM/Google Sheets so nothing is lost.
  • Build daily routes for field teams (roof inspections, estimates, property visits) to minimize driving and missed visits.
  • Coordinate measurement tools and reports (roof reports, photos) so each job is ready before the visit. Training Provided
  • Track each lead’s status: called, booked, visited, quoted, closed, or lost.

Follow‑Up Systems & AI:
Use provided AI tools (Claude Max, Perplexity Pro, VPN) to:

  • Draft follow‑up messages and emails. Summarize call notes quickly. Create simple checklists and scripts.
  • Help improve scripts, templates, and follow‑up processes over time.

Requirements

  • Based in Nigeria (Lagos or Abuja preferred) with a stable work‑from‑home setup.
  • At least 2 years experience in sales, telesales, phone support, or business development.
  • Strong phone skills – clear, neutral English, confident and friendly on calls.
  • Comfortable using CRM/trackers, Google Sheets, WhatsApp, email, and basic online tools.
  • Good with numbers and details (tracking deals, amounts, and follow‑ups).
  • Reliable internet (minimum 10 Mbps) – must provide a speed test screenshot.
  • Backup power (inverter, generator, or solar) – non‑negotiable.
  • High ownership, discipline, and a long‑term mindset – you want to grow with one company, not jump around.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday: 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM WAT.
  • Saturday: Up to 4 hours only, mainly for urgent follow‑ups or busy periods (many Saturdays will be off if work is complete).

Compensation & Benefits
Probation (first 2 months):

  • Base salary: ₦200,000 per month.

After probation (based on performance):

  • Base salary: ₦250,000 – ₦300,000 per month.

Commission:

  • ₦15,900 for each DEAL-you actively support to a successful closing.
  • Strong performers can realistically earn ₦330,000–₦550,000+ monthly (base + commission).
