Overview

• A Sales Manager oversees a company’s sales operations, drives revenue growth, and manages a team of sales representatives.
• This role combines leadership, strategy, and hands-on sales expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company targets
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team
• Set sales goals and track performance metrics
• Identify new business opportunities and markets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
• Analyze sales data and prepare reports for senior management
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align strategies
• Conduct training and onboarding for new sales staff
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and pricing strategies.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Revenue growth
• Sales target achievement
• Customer acquisition and retention rates
• Team performance and productivity
• Conversion rates.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales, often with prior leadership experience
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Leadership and team management abilities
• Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field (often preferred).

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 monthly.
