Job Title: Electrical Technician

Key Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing container‑handling equipment to ensure safe and reliable terminal operations.
- Perform electrical and electronic maintenance on RTGs, spreaders, and container handling cranes
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment faults and breakdowns
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance in line with OEM and terminal standards
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and report actions taken to the Supervisor
- Complete inspection, monitoring, and maintenance reports accurately and on time
- Ensure all work complies with HSSE policies, terminal rules, and labour regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of tools, equipment, and workshop areas.
What We Are Looking For
- Diploma or vocational qualification in Electrical Technology or a related field
- At least three years’ experience in crane or heavy equipment electrical maintenance
- Continuous improvement mindset: curiosity about how work is done and commitment to safe, reliable equipment performance
- Hands‑on experience with RTGs, quay cranes, and spreaders
- Knowledge of Siemens PLCs, drive systems, and electrical control circuits
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings
- Willingness to work shifts and respond to emergency repairs.
