We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Procurement Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

• Sourcing for credible and reliable vendors
• Raising of purchase orders and following up for the approval
• Preparation of procurement price analysis from bid submitted by the vendors/SBCs
• Following up with vendors/SBCs for timely delivery of goods & services
• Ensure materials purchased are inspected (in term of Quantity & Quality) before acceptance.
• Market survey
• Good relationship with all stakeholders ie SBCs vendors, user department etc
• Negotiation contract with vendors to arrive at reasonable terms of payment and delivery
• Prepare weekly procurement reports and support the Manager with monthly procurement report
• Inventory control: Receive & issue materials in and out of the store
• Monthly stock counting & reconciliation
• Record keeping: Recording of all receiving & issuing in the log book or any other document
• Posting of all material receive and issue in the Excel stock sheet. Spearhead initiatives to optimize telecom-related expenses, focusing towards high-impact projects and strategic initiatives.
• Implement cost-effective procurement practices that contribute to bottom-line savings while maintaining a high standard of quality.
• Ability to create spend dashboard and reporting for Telecom & analyze data to draw meaningful insights (using Excel, Power BI)
• Exposure in Telecom Procurement in manage and negotiating for data circuits, voice with various Telecom providers.
• Improve cross-functional collaboration by facilitating communication between IT, legal, finance, and business units.
• Continuously evaluate and improve Telecom procurement processes to enhance efficiency and reduce time-to-market.
• Conduct regular vendor performance reviews to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and service level expectations.
• Experience in obtaining Stakeholder alignment & managing multiple suppliers
• Assess and mitigate risks associated with Telecom procurement, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirement.

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 monthly.
