Job Brief
- BFI Insights is currently seeking to onboard a highly experienced and result-driven Programs Manager to lead the planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of strategic programs and projects within the Firm.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing strategic oversight across multiple programs, ensuring operational excellence and successful project delivery aligned with the Firm's goals.
- The Programs Manager will play a critical leadership role in driving program effectiveness, organizational growth, and impact delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic program plans aligned with the company's objectives and long-term growth goals.
- Provide leadership, oversight, and direction across multiple company programs and projects.
- Coordinate the planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of programs to ensure successful delivery.
- Ensure all programs are delivered within approved timelines, budgets, and operational scope.
- Develop and implement operational systems, frameworks, and structures that improve program efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead project scheduling, milestone tracking, resource allocation, and performance monitoring activities.
- Prepare and present detailed program reports, progress updates, and strategic recommendations to management.
- Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all assigned programs and teams.
- Identify operational risks, compliance gaps, and implementation challenges while developing mitigation strategies.
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, partners, vendors, sponsors, and regulatory bodies.
- Coordinate stakeholder meetings, strategic engagements, presentations, and program review sessions.
- Supervise and mentor program interns, coordinators, and support staff to ensure accountability and productivity.
- Drive team collaboration, operational discipline, and high-performance standards across all supervised teams.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews, coaching sessions, and development initiatives for team members.
- Develop, manage, and monitor program budgets while ensuring financial accountability and cost efficiency.
- Monitor expenditure and ensure all operational activities comply with approved financial processes and organizational policies.
- Support grant implementation, donor reporting, partnership management, and compliance requirements where applicable.
- Ensure proper documentation, filing, and maintenance of all program-related records and reports.
- Lead process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational performance and service delivery
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
- Collaborate with executive management in developing strategic initiatives and organizational development plans.
- Monitor program impact, measure outcomes, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Represent the company professionally during meetings, engagements, conferences, and stakeholder interactions.
- Perform other related responsibilities as assigned by management.
Experience and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, or related field.
- 3 - 5 years' experience in program development, management, and/or sales, preferably in investment banking, financial services, or the educational sector.
- Professional certification, such as PMP, PRINCE2, PgMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent, is highly required.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Experience in customer relationship management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Project Management tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 per month.
